Smackdown is in Bridgeport, Connecticut this week. One half of the Unified Tag Team Champions and the first ever Undisputed World Champion in WWE history, Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring to enlighten the crowd with some words of wisdom to start his show. Jericho says after Thanksgiving the wait is on for JeriShow VS. DX in TLC at TLC. Jericho says its over for DX in TLC at TLC. Its not about catchphrases or cheap plugs, its about one of the most dangerous matches in WWE history. Jericho says he has experience in TLC winning one, DX has never competed in one. Jericho says DX have never been tag champions and never will with JeriShow around. Jericho demands respect, says Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long is not giving that to him. He wants to know how there can be a no.1 contender match without him in it considering he didn’t lose at Survivor Series. Long comes out and tells Jericho he will go one on one with… The Undertaker.
Cryme Tyme VS. David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd with Natalya
JTG starts off working over Kidd, Kidd hits a low dropkick to take the advantage. Smith and Kidd tag back and forth. JTG eventually tags Shad, Shad with a big comeback until Smith nails a Saito suplex for the three count.

John Morrison backstage with Long. JoMo wants revenge on all the guys that beat him at Survivor Series. Vickie Guerrero walks in and demands a title shot for Escobar. Vickie threatens to call Vince until Long makes the match, but it will be Escobar’s only shot at the title. CM Punk walks backstage with a brown paper bag.
CM Punk comes to the ring with Luke Gallows, the former Festus. Apparently Festus was using drugs and now is all better thanks to being straightedge. Punk says he can do this for everyone. Punk says not to buy the Jeff Hardy DVD because it’s a drug. Matt Hardy Version 1.5 comes out and says that Jeff is free and makes mistakes but so does everyone. Matt says Punk doesn’t know Jeff Hardy. Matt says Punk would of not lost the title if he wasn’t so full of himself.
Matthew Hardy VS. CM Punk w/Luke Festus Gallows
Matt goes for Twist of Fate but Punk dodges it as we go to break. Back from break and Hardy has the advantage in a corner until Punk drops an arm of Hardy on the ropes. Hardy pretty much dominates Punk until trying for the Twist of Fate again and that is when Luke comes in and hits a big boot. Luke and Punk beat up Hardy until the commericals.
Winner- Matt Hardy
Mickie James backstage saying it does not matter if people pick on her because she is not leaving Smackdown yet.
Kane VS. Batista No.1 contender match for World Title
Kane shows his strength throughout the match as Batista tries to cheat early on. Batista uses a single leg crab on Kane as Batista works over the legs of Kane. Batista tries for a Batista Bomb but Kane nails a chokeslam for two. On the outside Kane gets decked with a chair, Batista rolls in the win to take the count-out victory and become no.1 contender.
Winner- Batista
John Morrison VS. Eric Escobar w/Vickie Guerrero WWE Intercontiential Title Match
Escobar and Morrison trade wrestling holds until Vickie grabs Morrison. Escobar hits Morrison with a baseball slide. Escobar with a belly to belly suplex for two. Morrison out of nowhere with a springboard back kick followed by Starship Pain for the three count. After match Vickie slaps Escobar. Escobar says it is over between them.
Winner- John Morrison
Chris Jericho VS. The Undertaker
Batista is doing commentary for this match. Jericho locks up with Taker and gets pushed into a corner where he gets punched. Jericho’s head tastes the turnbuckle and Jericho gets hit with Old School. Jericho tries for a kick, but doesn’t have much effect. Jericho takes a clothesline over the top as the break starts. Back from break with Jericho getting punched in a corner. Jericho takes a leg drop on the apron. Batista with a distraction that allows Jericho to hit a springboard drop kick. Jericho tries to keep the advantage but does not hold it for long. Jericho takes a snake eyes and big boot followed by a leg drop for two. Jericho about to take a chokeslam but counters into a bulldog. Goes for a Lionsault but is grabbed by the throat. Jericho takes a chokeslam and is about to take a tombstone until Batista runs in and decks Taker. Batista with chair shots to end the show.
Winner- The Undertaker
