Guillaume “Il Toro” Delorenzi landed some big hammer-fists inside Ryan Machan’s guard but was unable to finish his opponent despite a dominant first round that ended with Delorenzi in full-mount. In the opening bout, Dave Bedard quickly took Robin Helou down and used his ground and pound to score the TKO victory. Danny St-Gelais kept the trend going by defeating Samuel Laverriere via TKO in the second round after an even-paced first stanza.

Daylin Logan remained undefeated using his aggressive style to score a TKO victory over Sebastien Deroy after just under ninety seconds in the cage. Tristar gym prospect Alex Garcia also remained undefeated with a vicious knockout of Jaret MacIntosh in just 44 seconds. Originally the three main events included Guillaume De Lorenzi versus Joe Cronin, Mike Ricci versus Kurt Southern and Derek Gauthier taking on Tyler Jackson. De Lorenzi has pulled out after suffering an injury during his training camp and thus, the fight has been completely cancelled.

After signing with Bellator, Mike Ricci has decided to not fight Kurt Southern this Saturday and replacing him is local star Martin “The Hammer” Grandmont (9-4) at a catch weight of 160lbs. Ricci will begin fighting for Bellator on April 8th, 2010 in the lightweight tournament.

Undercard fight pitting GAMMA/BTT Canada trainee Lee Villeneuve (1-0) has also been changed. Villeneuve was forced to pull out of his bout against Toronto native Robert Cuman Biernacki (0-0) due to injury. Villeneuve’s replacement is TKO veteran Daniel Boissoneault (3-2). Boissoneault has been absent from the octagon since his TKO victory over Reginald Franklin in March of 2008. This fight is a huge test for Biernacki as he makes his pro MMA debut.
